Washington Trip Part 1

Things have been crazy around here! We moved into out new house a week and a half ago and have spent the past two weeks packing and unpacking and cleaning.  And in the middle of all the chaos (because she loves to make me crazy) Emily decided that she needed to start using the potty, she would choose the busiest week in her entire 2 years of life to potty train!

But things are settling down and I am finally getting around to sorting through the photos I took in Seattle...and there are a lot of them!  I averaged about 150 photos a day while we were there :) So these photos are going to be in a few parts, first up our first day in Seattle.

We flew out there with my dad, Andrew was so excited about the plane trip and the airport.  He loved pulling his own suitcase through the airport, which was a huge help!  He also had his first experience with an escalator, it was hilarious, I wish I had a video camera rolling for that!  It was a really long day, we got up early and left Gainesville, then caught our plane in the evening, and finally made it to our hotel around 11 PM Seattle time.  Both kids stayed up for the whole trip and then passed out as soon as we hit the hotel parking lot.

Day two was another packed day!  We got up and headed to down town Seattle.

Then we stopped by the Seattle Aquarium.

We rode the carosel, both kids thought it was the coolest.

And we had lunch at Ivar's.

Then we swung by the airport to pick up Gramma and Aunt Jenny and headed out to the Locks to see more fish.
