Rainy days

It has been rainy today so we are stuck in the house.  We did get out for a walk in the neighborhood this morning, but the rest of the day we have just been hanging around inside.

Andrew is really into playdough lately.  Andrew likes to make playdough mustaches like Grandpa's.

And Emily, she still likes to sleep!

She was up a bit for some floor time with her brother.

Andrew helped me in the kitchen today.  We made pizza.  He was awesome at spreading the cheese.

The pepperoni was a bit harder, I think more of it ended up in his mouth then on the pizza :)

Then he watched excitedly as it cooked in the oven.  It was delicious!

2 week check up

Emily went to the Dr this morning.  She is doing great, she is still down a few ounces from her birth weight so we have to go back next week for a weight check.  She has also grown almost a full inch in 2 weeks!

Andrew still loves holding his sister, and smooching on her :)







He also likes trucks and blocks...

Mommy's first day alone

Today is my first day with two kids all by myself.  It has been great so far.  Andrew has been exceptionally well behaved and Emily has done a lot of sleeping.

This morning I put her down on the chair to sleep a little while Andrew and I played.  Andrew is such a good brother, he grabbed a blanket and covered her up!







We went on a hunt for new patio furniture yesterday but only came home with this folding chair for Andrew, he loves it.

And Emily doesn't sleep all the time, she opens her eyes every once in a while :)

Andrew has been practicing his jumping, it is adorable!

And also, his feet stink :)

Emily is 1 week! New floors and first bath...

Emily is a week old today!  I started the blue chair pictures with her and her teddy bear :)



So far she has been a dream baby, my only complaint is she sleeps too much it worries me sometimes.  I guess I always have to worry about something :)

We finally got our new floors installed yesterday (YAY!)  and Andrew broke them in with some dancing.

Then we made him clean, just kidding, he loves to mop the floor. Notice his too small pacifier...it's his sisters.

Emily had her first bath last night, poor thing hated every second of it!
