Our grass...

We officially own this acre of grass!  Hopefully sometime in the next few years we will have a house on it!

Also.. GO GATORS!

Song and dance

Andrew was performing for us a bit last night.

I thought he might be ready for a big boy cup.  He has used cups a few times in the past and done pretty well.  Last night this was not the case...

Daddy was making Emily smile last night.  I love her baby grins!

A few videos...

I have said this before, Andrew loves music.  While we were in Pensacola, his two favorite toys were a guitar and a harmonica (well, and papa's power tools, I swear he sounded like Tim the tool man every time he picked one up!).  He was surprisingly good at both instruments for a one year old!

This is a pretty cute video of him wearing my shoes.  He actually put his own shoes on the other day, on the wrong feet but he did it all by himself!

And I still love his animal noises!  You can see his stick on tattoo on his arm in these videos, he got it with his kids meal at Tijuana Flats the other day.  He is pretty proud of it :)

I let him parent for me this morning :) He almost got his baby sister to sleep!

Another trip!

We got back from our last trip on Thursday, did laundry and packed so we could leave early Friday morning for Pensacola.

Saturday morning we went to the playground.  Andrew had a blast.

He got in the sand box and threw sand at his papa.

Sunday we drove up to Alabama to meet Kenneth's grandparents.  It was a fun trip.  Kenneth's 8 year old cousin Brandon was there and Andrew wore himself out playing with him.  We got some of his Grandpa's delicious blueberry wine too! I didn't get any pictures while we were there but here is Andrew riding an elephant before we left, silly kid!

Monday we went to the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola.  Andrew LOVED that!  He was so impressed by all the airplanes and had so much fun climbing in them and pushing all the buttons.

Emily even got in a plane, and tried out the ejection seat.

Monday night we got to see their cousins Maddie, Makayla, and Braden.  Andrew was so excited to see them he was dancing around and hugging them!

And Tuesday before we left cousin Audrina came over.  She loved Emily and kept saying "there's Emma-Lee! She's a baby!"

We made it home yesterday and I think we are traveled out for a least a week or so!  I think Andrew was happy to sleep in his bed last night instead of in a pack n play where he has been the past two weeks!

Washington trip

We made it back from Washington yesterday.  We had a wonderful trip to visit my Grandparents.

Andrew and Emily were great on their first plane trip.  Andrew loved to look at the planes out the window. In the airport.  He got a window seat on the plane and looked out the window saying "wow wow wow" as we took off.

Here is Emily with her Great Papa!

On Sunday we went to my Uncle Wayne's house for a big family cook out.  Andrew had lots of boys to play with.  He learned to roll down hills and got his first grass stains on his jeans!  He had tons of people around to help him ride this tricycle. Here is Aunt Penny and cousin Hayden showing him how to ride....

Then Aunt Roxy gave him some help.

Darren showed him how to work the wheelbarrow

Andrew got in on the noodle fights!

On Monday, we went to Northwest Trek.  Andrew loved the tram ride to see all the animals.

We couldn't keep the kid out of the puddles.

Then we headed up the mountain.  It was really cold up there! I was hoping we could find some snow for Andrew to play in but it had all melted, but we did find $25!  I is so beautiful up there!

On Tuesday we went to see Aunt Michelle's horses. Andrew got to ride Kedar, he thought that was pretty cool!

Andrew learned a new word when we were there "truck".  When A truck drives by he points and yells "truck truck truck" which sounds a lot like quack quack quack right now :)  We went for a walk on the trail behind my grandparents place and he was impressed with all these trucks!

The trail has some great mountain views and some really delicious black berries!   We walked along the trail and ate the berries off the bushes!

We took Andrew's shoe off so he could walk barefoot in Grandpa's grass, he wasn't thrilled.  Emily liked the grass between her toes though!

And one last mountain shot from the plane!
