9 Month Well Visit
Andrew had his 9 month check up with the doctor today. No shots today so he was happy! Doctor said he looked great, he weighs 17.5 pounds and was 27.5" long, his head circumference is in the 97th percentile!

Puppy Dogs
Last night Andrew slept ALL night in his crib by himself! I am so proud of him! He also has 4 teeth now, his top two teeth broke through his gums. Now he thinks it is fun to grind his little teeth and make funny noises.
Andrew has really been intrigued by the doggies lately. When he sits in his high chair they like to sit below him because they know he drops lots of food. We can hardly get him to eat these days because he just wants to stare at the dogs!
Here he is at Aunt Jenny's on Sunday, Moe was playing keep away :)
Tonight he crawled over to the back door and stood there forever staring at our doggies on the back porch. (Please ignore my filthy windows!)

100 Blog Posts and a Green Shirt!
This is my 100th blog post! I tried to think of some really awesome way to celebrate my 100th post but came up with nothing. So I will show you this green shirt!

My mom gave me this shirt last time we went to visit them a few weeks ago. This same outfit can be seen here on me, circa May 1985, making me about one month older than Andrew.
Clearly a this is a classic and timeless look :)

Andrew's Room
Today I cleaned Andrew's room. It was pretty messy, I can't imagine what it will look like when Andrew starts making messes in there! Then I realized I have never taken pictures of Andrew's room before! I fixed that today, I am sure one day Andrew will like to look at these pictures and see what his room looked like when he was a baby!
We didn't really put much planning into the nursery, it was our office before and we pretty much took out the desk and added a crib :) It already had blue walls and a sports theme so it was perfect for our baby boy!
Here is Andrew ready to give the tour...

I painted this letter A for his door...
Here is his dresser, which used to double as his changing table until he wouldn't sit still for diaper changes. My mom painted the picture above it when I was little and his name and meaning hang on the other wall
Here are all his stuffed animals and his bookcase we still haven't filled up yet (#1 on his birthday wish list... more books please!) The pictures hanging here were in the office too, they were Kenneth's. I got him those stadium pictures for Christmas one year, one is Florida and one is Alabama. Ever since I hung them up it has been a constant battle in our house about which one goes on top. Right after I took that picture I switched them and put Florida back on top, we will see how long it takes Kenneth to notice that :)
And finally his crib and glider. We spend a lot of time in that chair!
And here are some pictures of Andrew doing some light reading this afternoon :) He played with that magazine for almost an hour and completely destroyed it!

Beach Vacation
We spent the last 4 days here...
It was wonderful!
My parents rented a place on Casey Key Beach and we went down and spent some time with them. Andrew made an excellent beach bum!
Here he is super excited we finally made it to the beach...

Checking out the sand, not quite sure what to think of it!
But he quickly decided it was pretty neat and spent most of the weekend covered in it! I don't even want to know how much sand he ate and at least twice we had to hold him down and take a seashell out of his mouth!
We learned that sunscreen makes your hair look funny...
And Andrew had a lot of fun swimming in the ocean. He loved to go out in the water and splash, splash, splash!
He got in tons of Grandma and Grandpa time...
Here they are watching the sunset, which was beautiful!
Shortly after I took this photo, Andrew decided to stand up in the chair and flipped over the armrest, face planting in the sand. Good thing sand is soft!
I don't think he wanted to leave. When we got in the car to go he gave me this face...
