Wild flower photos

I took the kids to a field by our new house for some photos.  It has been so hard to get good photos of them lately, they won't smile and usually just run away.  But I think I found the trick, I told them these were pictures for Gramma and Mawmaw and I got some of the best smiles ever :)

A roly poly

Andrew loves to find bugs, I mostly hate bugs.  But today we were at the park and on our way to the playground Andrew called out "MOM, look at this bug!"  I walked back to check it out and saw he had found a roly poly bug.  I used to love picking up these little guys when I was little so I was excited to teach Andrew all about them.  And he was excited to hold a bug, I hope I haven't started a new picking up bugs hobby!

Beach Day

We drove over to Cresent Beach beach with Aunt Jenny yesterday. We went to this same spot a couple years ago when Andrew was a bit younger than Emily is now and Emily was in my tummy. We spent almost 5 hours there and had so much fun.  We had a picnic lunch, built sand castles, splashed in the ocean and danced on the beach.  It was a pretty perfect day!
