Mother's Day

Getting a photo of me with all three kids is nearly impossible, but I try every year on mother's day.  These are this years best shots.  Someone almost always has their eyes closed, we had a photo bombing dog and Jacob kept covering his face because I guess he hates having his photo taken, or maybe he just likes to be stubborn :)

Dance Costumes

The kids are gearing up for a dance recital.  Emily is taking both tap and jazz classes this year.  She has really loved tap all season and had started to really enjoy jazz in the last few months too.  Jazz was a little harder for her in the beginning, but she is really improved!  Andrew started dancing a couple months ago too!  They sent out an email practically begging for boys to join their ballroom dance class so the girls would have some boys to dance with in the recital, so he decided to give it a try.  Turns out he is not a bad dancer! And he has really enjoyed learning to cha cha.  On Saturday the kids had professional photos taken at the dance studio, then I took them my the performing arts center where they will have their recital and took some photos of my own.

Easter

This was Jacobs first year dying Easter eggs.  The kids has so much fun and worked quick, they dyed 18 eggs in unger 20 minutes!

I don't have may photos of Easter Sunday.  I had to work and the Easter bunny must have known because he brought the kids baskets in the morning but didn't show up to hide the eggs until later that day after I had gotten home.  Andrew and Emily were so mad at me, they were certian I had either scared him away early in the morning before he had a chance to hide the eggs or that I had found all the eegs and taken them to work with me.  Either way, I had ruined Easter :)  But lucky the eegs showed up in the yard later.  They were in such a hurry to gather the eggs they grabbed some grocery bags to hunt instead of their baskets!

Jeckyll Island

We took a day trip to Jeckyll Island in February.  It's a small island in south Georgia where Kenneth and I had gone a few weeks before.  They have a fun treasure hunt and I was hoping we would find some treasure.  We didn't find any, but we had a great time exploring all day with the kids.
