A little one on one

We took Andrew to the park today and he challenged daddy to a little one on one, and totally kicked his butt...OK not really, but they had a lot of fun!

2 month well visit

Emily had her 2 month check up with the doctor today.  Doctor said she looks great! She is 10.3 pounds ans 22.2" long.  Long and skinny, she is in the 30th percentile for weight, 60th for height and 80th for head circumference.

She got three shots today and has been sleeping ever since.

We took Andrew to feed the ducks.

Emily has three band aids where she got her shots and Andrew has been very concerned about Emily's "bo bos", he has been kissing them all better for her :)

Cheese Cheers

We were eating string cheese for a snack today and Andrew was dancing around saying "cheese" (like he does every time he eats cheese), then he ran over yelling "cheers" and hit his cheese against mine like they were glasses of champagne.  He would giggle and yell "cheese cheers, cheese cheers!" So cute!

He also threw a ball in the house and broke a picture frame, oops.

I know I have said this before, but Andrew is the sweetest big brother.  He showers Emily with kisses.

He tickles her toes, pats her belly, and acts like a big goofball to make her smile.

And no one can make Emily smile like her brother does!

Beach Vacation (part 3)

The beach motel that my parents get every year is awesome, it is like our own little piece of paradise.  It is the only hotel for miles so there aren't many people on the beach, even the other hotel patrons didn't seem to hang out on the beach too much.  We pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves most of the week!

In the morning we would sit on the beach and drink our coffee.

And in the evening we would sit and watch the sunset.

I guess the guy that was in our room before us was feeding the birds so they were always hanging around.

Grandpa liked to tease them and make them think he had food.  This guy was particularly aggressive, he would chase all other birds away, and chase Jenny off a few times :)

On Thursday the waves finally calmed down enough that we could get in the ocean.

Aunt Jenny taught Andrew to collect seashells.

And Andrew made sure everyone had a turn swimming with him :)

Andrew helped Aunt Jenny put together her ladder ball game.

Friday night Andrew helped Aunt Jenny find some more seashells and we watched our last sunset on the beach.

Look how blonde he got in one week at the beach!

When we woke up Saturday I think it was breakfast time for the birds, I couldn't believe how many there were!

Andrew drank his milk on the beach and got in one last walk with Grandpa.

And Emily got in some last minute Grandma snuggles.

Then we headed for home.
