Extreme Heat Warning!

Andrew is doing new stuff again, it is something new everyday with this kid! Now he is pulling himself up on his toys, the couch, our legs, whatever he can grab. Here he is pulling up on his toy the other day...

And munching on Nemo :)

Yesterday we went out to eat and Andrew and Daddy were matching...

Today Andrew, Aunt Jenny and I hung out all day! First we went to Payne's Prairie State Park.  It was pretty but way too hot! Aunt Jenny hung Andrew's little feet out into the Prairie to see if the Buffalos would come come out.  I guess they don't like little baby toes because we didn't get to see any!

I had put Andrew in a really cute outfit because I wanted to take some pictures of him, unfortunately just as we got to the park he got car sick for the first time ever.  He threw up all over himself! So he wore a white onesie instead, it probably was better anyway since it was so HOT!

After we left the Park we went to downtown Micanopy for lunch and to browse the antique shops.  Andrew rode in his carrier since the stroller was too big to go in most of the shops.  He hadn't been in this thing in a while and he LOVED it!  He squealed and cooed through all the shops!

After Micanopy we made a quick stop by the car wash to try and get the puke smell out of my car :) Then we finished the day with some more shops in downtown Alachua.  On our way home we heard on the radio that we were under an extreme heat warning and they were asking everyone to stay indoors today!  Oops! We thought it felt hotter than usual :)

  1. If I hadn't already seen the cutest babies in the world (Jenny and you), I'd say this one is a shoe-in! You ought to send that photo where Andrew is in profile on the rail, with Jenny's hands on his waist, to Uncle Gary. He could do a beautiful pen-and-ink drawing of that. What cheeks!
