12 month well visit

How is it even possible that my little monkey is 12 months already!  We went this moring for his 12 month check up with the Dr. and everything was great!  He is now 20.6 pounds and 29" long.  That is almost half as tall as Aunt Jenny!  His head circumference was off the charts, above the 100th percentile.  I think that means he is a genius.

He showed off all his skills for the Dr.  He waved hi and bye, clapped his hands, and flirted an awful lot.  She even commented about how "he doesn't have much stranger anxiety".  We though he would be getting a whole bunch of shots but apparently he can't get those until after his first birthday, so instead he got a finger prick and the flu shot.  We have to go back next week for the rest of them.  He was such a big boy and he didn't even cry when they pricked his finger.  He cried a bit when he got the shot, but only until he saw a pretty lady to smile at, he is such a flirt!

When we got home, he enjoyed one of his favorite snacks, peas!

I'm not sure where he picked this up, but every time I get my camera out these days he gives me the big cheesy grin with squinty eyes.  It's pretty funny, the little ham.
