Dance recital

Emily wrapped up her first season of ballet with a dance recital on Saturday.  The recital was held at the big performing arts center on the university campus, she was so excited to dance on the big stage!  They had professional photos on Thursday at her dance studio, then I took her over to the performing arts center to get a few photos of her in her pretty creamscicle costume too!

She did great in her recital, she was not even a little bit nervous to dance in front of the big crowd.  She is the third from the left in these photos of them on stage.

After the show, she was showered with flowers by all of her adoring fans and had to pose for photos with them :)

Pre K graduate!

Emily graduated from pre-K last week and is officially heading to kindergarten in the fall!  They had a little graduation cerimony; they sang some songs, got a certificate, and ate some ice cream.  It has been so fun to watch her lear and grow this year, she is so smart.  She said her favorit part of pre-k was coloring, swinging on the playground, and learning all her letter sounds.  It is hard to believe this girl is off to elementary school next year!

15 month well check

Jacob saw the doctor today for his 15 month check up.  He is 20 pounds 6 ounces (15th perecntile) 29.5" tall (4th percentile) and his head is 19" (80th percentile).  Still not walking yet!  But he is sooooo close, I keep saying any day now, but I think I have been saying that for three weeks.  Jacob seems to be an observer, and probably a perfectionist like his brother.  I think he is waiting to try walking until he is sure he can do it, once he starts walking, he will be running!

Spalsh park!

We hit up the splash park the other day!  Jacob went through a phase a few weeks ago where he hated water, but he is over that now, just in time for summer!  These three had a blast splashing in the water!
