Easter eggs, tree climbing and sibling photos

Andrew and Emily have been asking to dye Easter eggs for weeks, we finally did it today!  They are so excited about Easter, they keep telling me it is their favorite holiday...But 2 weeks ago they said St. Pat's was their favorite and before that it was Valentine's day.  They just really love whichever holiday is next!

After dinner we headed to that park to play on the playground, but they found the big tree with some low hanging branches to play on instead.  I think this was the first time they ever really climbed a tree, they loved it.

After Jacob woke up from his nap, I made them pose for some group photos. Jacob was not thrilled about it!

Emily kept playing with Jacob's face..."smile, baby brother"...poor kid!

2 months!

Jacob is 2 months old today!

People keep telling me how he doesn't look at all like his brother and sister, I think they are wrong!  I see so many similarities in the three of them, but Jacob definitely looks more like his dad than the other two...and he doesn't have the same giant head they did! Here are all three babies at 2 months :)

2 month well check

Jacob saw the Dr today for his 2 month check up.  He was 9 pounds 14 ounces and 22.25" long.  He is slipping in the growth curve, down to just the 5th percentile for weight and 18th for height, so we will be back again in a few weeks to check his weight again.  But his Dr wasn't too concerned, she said he looked great! And both his brother and sister were on the smaller side as infants too.

As the youngest of three, this kid is always on the go, we have preschool drop off's and gymnastics classes, grocery store errands and play dates.  So he is no where close to starting a schedule, he eats when he is hungry and sleeps whenever and where ever he wants.  At the Dr this morning, a med student was asking all the typical check up questions..."how many times does he nap? and for how long?" "how often does he eat?" "what time does he go down at night?" "when does he get up in the morning?" "how many times does he pee?" (are there parents who actually count how many times there 2 month old pees?) and I answered most questions with "well, I really don't know"  The med student was a bit confused and asked me if he is with a nanny most of the day, ha! Nope, just the third kid!

He also had his first round of shots today, which pretty much wiped him out! He spent the day sleeping.

He is growing so fast! He smiles now, and coos and laughs...he is turning into a really fun little dude!

Yesterday he celebrated his Irish heritage by wearing a "kiss me I'm Irish" shirt that has now been worn by all three babies :)  And he got kissed...a lot!
