Fourth of July

We spent the Fourth of July at my Uncle Wayne's house while we were in Washington.  Andrew is still talking about it.  He got to play with cousins, jump on a trampoline, swim, and light fireworks.  He keeps asking when we can go back to his cousin's, I think he would have stayed there forever.  Emily mostly hung with gramma but she did get in some trampoline and swimming too.

Then we went back to great papa's house and Andrew snuggled with Aunt Jenny for a fireworks show.

Happy Birthday Emily!

My sweet baby girl turned 2 on Sunday!  It really seems like she was just born a few months ago.  This girl is a bundle of fun!  She talks pretty much every single second she is awake, she is a huge goofball and such a little love.  She is always sneaking up behind me, giving me a hug and saying "me love you to the moon and back, Mommy".  She is not really a people person lately, she doesn't care to make friends on the playground and is super shy around people she doesn't know.  She loves all things Minnie Mouse and shoes.

We celebrated her birthday with cake and presents on Sunday.  She got some presents from Aunt Vicki when she woke up, she is about the slowest present opener I have ever seen, shes pulls off tiny pieces of paper and hands them to me "that ones garbage, Mommy".  Than that night she got a Minnie cake (which she was so tickled with) and presents from mommy, daddy, and mawmaw and pawpaw.

Today she had her well visit with the Dr.  The Dr said she looks perfect (which I already knew :) ).  She is actually tall for her age (I think they must have measured wrong) at almost 35" and weighs 27 pounds.

Water babies

These two LOVE the water. Between the hour baths at night and the three hour pool trips during the day, I think they may sprout gills this summer!
Andrew is really starting to get the hang of this swimming thing.  He and swim a short distance all by himself and even will swim under water and open his eyes.  He likes to practice his skills in the tub, both him and Emily practice blowing bubbles and floating on their backs in the tub.
