The past three days

Andrew and Emily were in the bath tub together for the first time the other day.  It was pretty cute but I didn't get my camera fast enough to get any pictures.  But the time I got back to the tub with my camera, Andrew had splash Emily in the face and made her cry so daddy had taken her out of the tub.

She was so happy to have her daddy love on her after she got dressed!  Every time he would kiss on her she gave him a huge grin.

The day before yesterday Emily snoozed on the couch.  I love the way she sleeps with her arms stretched out over her head.

Andrew is officially sleeping in his big boy bed full time now.  He has also stopped taking naps, I am not happy about this, mommy needs that child free time in the afternoon!  I have been having him lay in his bed for an hour or so every afternoon but he just won't nap!

I think he likes having the extra room to roll at night.  He is all over the place when he sleeps, yesterday I went in his room to check on him since it was almost 10 and he still wasn't up.  It was a game of where's Andrew trying to find him in the mess of covers and pillows.

A little bit later I went back and found him reading.

Yesterday we went to the park.  Andrew has started playing on the big kid play set instead of the toddler one, he even went down the really big slide on his own.  I still have to remind him to sit down before going down the slides sometimes though.

And Emily hung out with me :) Her hair is really thinning out, I didn't notice it so much until I looked at these pictures!

First golf lesson

We went to a park on Tuesday with Grandma and Grandpa.  There was a little putting green there and a little boy around Andrew's age was nice enough to share his golf clubs.

Big boy bed

Andrew slept in a big boy bed!



We were at Toys r us a few weeks ago and they had this bed rail on clearance.  So I grabbed it thinking we would need it someday.  I put it together yesterday and put it on his bed and figured we would just try it out.



After I read him his story he wanted to get in his big boy bed!  He climbed in and covered up with the blankets.  I was a bit sad walking out of the room with my baby in a big boy bed, where has the time gone?!



It took him a while to fall asleep because he was up exploring his new bed for a while, looking out the window, playing with the lights over the bed, turning his pillow, but he fell asleep and slept all night!  This morning I heard him rustling around on the monitor, he had gotten out of bed to get a book and climbed back under his covers :)

Emily's in the bumbo!

I got the bumbo out for Emily today.  She loved it!  She sat on the floor with her brother and they chatted.

I wonder what they were chatting about.

Then Andrew gave her some little hugs.

I wish I had videoed him getting out of this, it was pretty entertaining!

3 months and the pumpkin patch

Emily is 3 months old today!

Here is Andrew at 3 months , he looks so much bigger than Emily!

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch.  We were supposed to pick out a pumpkin but after looking at the pumpkins for a few minutes, Andrew found the playground and was not interested in the pumpkins anymore.  Then it started raining and we had to make a mad dash for the car.  Looks like we will be making another trip to the pumpkin patch soon.

Emily was not amused...

What we have been up to...

Last weekend we went to Disney World.

I wanted to get him a pirate sword at the Pirates of the Caribbean, he thought this gun was much cooler.  He was shooting at everyone in the store.

Andrew and Emily snuggled in bed at the hotel.

The other day while I was at work Andrew fell asleep on the couch.  He took a pretty long nap there and was still asleep when I got home.

I really never thought I would see the day he would just fall asleep on the couch.  He is go go go all the time and usually will only sleep in his crib or his car seat.

He love to play with Emily on the floor.  She lays on her tummy and he sets toys up and pushes all the buttons for her :)

Emily has started sucking on her fingers all the time, I blame my mom for this!
