House update

We have walls!

We went by the house the other day and all the walls were up, it was fun to walk through and see where all the rooms will be.

Andrew kept telling me "I like this house mom!"  Good, cause you have to live here!  And he picked out his room again, he had picked out the back room when it was just the foundation but once the walls were up he said he wants the middle room now.

And I tried to get family photos again, Emily still thinks they are a terrible idea...

And a picture of my babies, just because it is so cute I can hardly stand it...They love eachother :)

Pool weather and a house update

We have a foundation!  It has been fun to watch the progress on our new house, they poured the foundation 2 weeks ago and today they started the framing.

I thought it would be fun to take a family photo every once in a while while the house is going up. So when we were out there on Friday we took family photos on the front porch and in front of the fireplace. I guess Emily is not to thrilled with my idea, she was not excited about getting her photo taken.

They delivered all the lumber for the framers on Friday, so we hung out and waited for the big truck.  The kids even tried their bikes on the new street and had juice boxes on the front step.

Then the big truck came!  Andrew was thrilled... turns out Emily id not a fan of construction and trucks.

So we took a walk and met the new neighbors...the cows down the street :)

Sunday while I was at work, Kenneth bought the kids a new swimming pool.  Andrew was so excited to show me the pool when I got home.

Official ground breaking, bed head, and big girl panties

Andrew has officially broken ground on the future site of our new home!

So we haven't really broken ground yet, we are still waiting on a building permit.  But we did get a well!

In other news, Emily has the best bed head I have ever seen.  She is a total, adorable mess when she wakes up.

And Andrew...well he looks just like he always does.  He is such a goofball.

Andrew is almost potty trained, he pees in the potty 95% of the time now, he can even go all by himself.  Emily is starting to show interest, but mostly she is interested in not wearing diapers ever.  She hates them as of a few days ago.  We got her some pull ups which she thinks are cool, but even better are her big girl panties, I pretty much love her chunky thighs in them :)

maybe soon I won't be spending a fortune on diapers anymore....
