100 days of school and other Februrary events

Back in February the kids celebrated the 100th day of school, which for Andrew meant dressing up as a 100 year old!  We gathered a bunch of things from around the house and pulled together a pretty good 100 year old man costume.  We even made a cane out of some scrap wood in the garage!  I think he makes the cutest old man :)

A few days later, we met Kenneth at work to get some photos of Viper and the rest of the k-9 squad.

Annnnnd also in February, Jacob let me take his picture, it doesn't happen very often so I have to share it when it does :)

2 Year Old Jacob

Jacob is such a fun little dude.  He loves to laugh and make everyone else laugh, he loves to be outside and could spend all day riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, and hitting baseballs off the tee in the yard, he is SO opinionated and stubborn, and he is 100% a daddy's boy (which breaks his mommy's heart a little bit). 

He is a little peanut, at his 2 year check up back in February, he weighed in at 24.5 pounds and was 33.7" tall.  He is a picky eater and most times it is hard to get him to eat at all.  His favorite foods are crakers, cheese, berries, cheetos, and apples.

When Jacob turned 2 he already had developed quite the vocabulary, and now you can't make him stop talking!  He is always impressing strangers with the amount of words that come out of that tiny mouth! 

Jacob loves to play with his big brother and sister, loves legos, cars, and coloring.  He like routines and he wakes up every morning and gets a cup of milk, then climbs in bed with his daddy to watch some Paw Patrol.

Jacob is 2!

Waaay back in January, our baby Jacob turned 2!  We had a small party at the house for him, complete with puppy dog cupcakes made with help from his brother and sister (he loves puppies).

Christmas...in May

So we didn't really celebrate Christmas in May, I am just 5 months behind on getting photos uploaded! I would like to blame it on my super bust schedule, or my three kids, or my slow computer, but really I have just been lazy :)

Anyways....we had a great Christmas!  Emily asked for a whoopie cushion and a poop emoji pillow this year (the poop pillow also doubled as a great butt pad for her new skates!), Andrew asked for some legos, and Jacob was so excited to find his very own baseball helmet and bat under the tree!  Jacob was not feeling great on Christmas and he slept in, it was torture for Andrew and Emily to have to wait for their baby brother to wake up to open presents!

I made them all matching jammies to wear Christmas eve, this is the best photo I got of the three of them together.

Christmas portraits

I try to get nice pictures of the kids in their Christmas outfits every year.  Jacob has made that very difficult this year!  He hates having his photo taken, these pictures took 2 days and lots of bribery :)  We talked all day about how great he was going to look when he smiled for mommy's camera and how he would sit nice and still with his siblings.  I ended up with a few great shots of the kids...and a lot of pictures of Jacob screaming!
