Swimming, swimming, swimming

These two cannot get enough pool time! They ask to go swimming every single day, even when it is storming and they know I will say no.  Andrew is getting pretty good at swimming.  He can swim pretty far (and he swims underwater if I remind him that he is faster that way) and he can dive down to the bottom of the pool and get dive sticks in the shallow end.  His favorite thing to do at the pool is cannonballs with huge splashes.  Emily loves to swim with her yellow tube on, she kicks all over the place in that thing.  But she is still not quite ready to take it off yet.

While we were at the pool this day we got rained out for a bit.  It gave Andrew and Emily a good dance break, and a chance to try out the new noise makers Aunt Jenny got them (as if they can't make enough noise on their own...).

Trip to Mawmaw and Pawpaw's

Last weekend we went to visit Kenneth's parents.  The kids had a really great trip playing with their cousin and seeing their Mawmaw and Pawpaw.  Andrew really wanted to go to the beach, but we never made it there, instead we went to the Naval museum and the Gulfarium.

This was our trip to the museum, the kids with their cousin Audrina and a friend from down the street, who had dubbed herself their "cousin in-law".

I am dreaming of the day when I am not the only one in our family who smile for pictures!

Andrew loves this place because you get to climb in the airplanes and push buttons.  Emily had a lot of fun playing airplane pilot this time too!

They have a baby dolphin there, she is 2 months old, isn't she cute!
