7 months old and on the chart!

Emily is seven months old today!  She went to the Dr this morning for a flu shot and a weight check.  She weighs 13 pounds 4 ounces which puts her finally on the growth curve! (Only in the 2nd percentile, but hey she's on the chart) It must be all that vanilla soft serve she has been eating, she loves the stuff, dives in face first!

She has been eating great. She loves solid foods, and loves wearing them, these pictures are from last week, she was eating beef stew.

Andrew has not been feeling so hot lately, last week he had an eye infection, this week he is running a fever.  I hope he is back to his old self soon.

Last week at the doctor for his eye infection he got to pick out some stickers for being good.  He picked the "turtle", then he held out his right hand for me to put a sticker on the back, then his left hand, then he pointed to his forehead for a sticker there.  I told him he didn't need a sticker on his forehead but I guess he didn't agree, on the drive home he had taken a sticker from his hand and put it in his hair!

We spent the weekend at maw maw and paw paw's, I have tons of pictures to share, maybe tomorrow.

Best day ever

Yesterday was one of the best days ever, right up there with the days Andrew and Emily were born.  Yesterday Andrew told me "I love you" for the first time then showered me with kisses!

Emily and Andrew have been playing with one of my old dolls.  I think it is funny that it is as big as Em!

I finally got these videos uploaded to my computer, they are 2 weeks old, my Christmas tree is down now :), but they are really cute.  I had the video of Andrew bowling playing and Andrew was watching it an cracking up, I guess he thinks he is a pretty funny dude!

2 is better than 1

If you thought this was going to be some sappy post about how awesome it is having 2 kids, you are wrong. This post is about how awesome Andrew thinks it is to have 2 "puh puhs".

Andrew insisted on using 2 pacifiers the other day, he even napped with both of them in his mouth, he had them both vertically side by side.

Emily and Andrew are becoming little buddies.  Andrew loves laying on the floor with her, Emily is a great friend for playing cars with.

6 month well check, Roll Tide, and dressing himself!

Em had her 6 month well check this morning she is a whooping 11 pounds 14 ounces and 24 1/4" long.  Dr said she looked great.  She gets to start eating meats and drink water now.  And she gets to try a sippy cup. She wouldn't sit for the doctor but gave her lots of smiles.

Andrew got to stay up Monday to watch the game with daddy.  He was so excited and had fun yelling "TOLL TIDE!"

This morning Andrew woke up early and was playing in his bed while I showered, when I went to get him in his room he had already dressed himself! He was so proud

Andrew got a water table for Christmas from aunt Jenny.  It finally warmed up enough he got to try it out and he LOVED it!  He was soaking wet and so was the front porch!

6 months!

Baby Emily is a whole half a year old today!  In the past month she has started eating solid foods, this kid loves to eat!  She has had sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, avocado, pears, and squash and loved all of it.  She also started sitting on her own.  She can only do it for a few seconds and needs close supervision or she will plop on her face but she sits, and she is so proud of herself when she does!
