Caught!

I caught Andrew in the kitchen drawing me a picture today.





Of course, I took a few photos before I took the crayon away :)  I guess I need to supervise his crayon use a bit better!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter!  I had to work most of the day but when I got home, the Easter bunny had come and brought Andrew all kinds of great stuff!

















We hunted for eggs in the front yard.

Andrew and daddy played some basketball with his new hoop.

Then Aunt Jenny came with all kinds of great stuff Andrew can take to the splash park!

Easter card

We got a special package in the mail the other day from Aunt Vicki, who spoils us rotten.  It had a singing Easter card in it for Andrew.  He loved the card, and kept opening it and smiling and shaking his butt to the music.  It was still fun last night too, and I got video of him dancing a bit.

He also enjoyed his first Peep.  I guess it must be an instinct to eat the ears first, or maybe it is hereditary :)

Where's your nose?

Andrew knows where his nose is now!  We are working on the other parts, he thinks everything is his nose.

We went to the splash park today.  I forgot that this week is spring break around here so it was really crowded.  Andrew had a good time though.











And we stopped by the playground after the splash park.  I love his crazy splash park hair do!

Mr. Independent

We went to feed the ducks today.  I guess we were too late for lunch but too early for dinner because the ducks wouldn't eat our bread!  We threw it all out for them anyway, maybe they will get hungry later :)

Where are they?



We saw lots of tiny baby ducks, there were 3 mommy ducks with babies.



Then we walked on the path around the pond.  Mr Independent decided he didn't need to ride in the stroller or hold mommy's hand.  He walked all the way around the path by himself (with one pit stop to play with some mulch).

More splashing

We have been spending a lot of time in the water lately :)  Friday we took Andrew by the splash park, we hadn't been there since last summer and I don't think Andrew remembered it.  His face lit up when he saw all the fountains and big kids running around!  We went late in the day so it was pretty crowded, I only took my camera out for a few quick photos.









I loaned the table that I keep my sewing machine on to Jenny for the weekend so right now my sewing machine is unplugged and on the floor.  Andrew found it and he grabbed a piece of fabric from the closet to sew.  Looks like he has been watching mommy :)
