Lazy Monday

Today is the last day of my four day weekend.  Andrew and I have been pretty lazy today just hanging around the house.  Yesterday we went to the spring art festival downtown with Jamie.  Andrew napped through most of the art festival, but it was nice to get outside for a bit!

Andrew is still a bit to short for his jumparoo.  But, I put a pillow on the ground under his feet and he was jumping away in it today! I love that it keeps him entertained long enough for me to make myself lunch!

Found his feet

Andrew found his feet for the first time a couple weeks ago, lately he has been playing with them all the time! I finally got a few pictures of him holding on to his feet...

4 months old!

I can't believe I have a 4 month old already! He is growing up too fast! Here he is in the blue chair with his teddy bear.

He has started making this throaty growling noise a lot lately, he seems to do it a lot when he is happy.  This is how he talks to all of his toys now.  Here is a video from last night of him growling and me growling back.

  

4 month well visit

Andrew had his 4 month check up with the Dr today.  He is doing great but a bit on the small side, he only gained 1 pound and grew 1 inch in the last two months.  He now weighs 13.1 lbs and is 24" long.  The Dr said she is not concerned about his weight gain but we have to go back next month for a weight check just to be sure.  He also got more vaccinations today, we both hated that part.

After his appointment, he got some new toys.  Since he loves chewing on things we got him Sophie the giraffe, I heard she is a great teething toy.  He also got a rattle that looks like a phone. He likes to chew on that too!

Swimming like a fish!

Andrew and I made a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Amsinger's house this weekend. I needed to buy a bridesmaids dress for a wedding I will be in so it was a good excuse to come down.  Today we went to a festival downtown Safety Harbor where artists were doing chalk art on the sidewalks and we had some lunch at a restaurant downtown.  When we got home, Andrew went swimming in a big pool for the first time and he LOVED it!  It was 80' in grandma's pool, it felt a bit chilly at first but once we got in Andrew was splashing and having a great time!

We finally caught Andrew laughing on video.  Andrew thinks it is hilarious when I pretend to eat his feet! I love his little laugh!

Patio Party

Before I get to the party, I have to brag a little about how awesome Andrew is. He is doing so good with tummy time, he doesn't even prop on his elbows anymore.  Soon I will be writing a blog post about my baby crawling!

 

 Now on to the party! Aunt Jenny got a new patio and had a cookout at her house today.  Aunt Jenny manned the grill, she is getting pretty good at that!

It was a lot of party for the little guy, he passed out on Aunt Jenny's bed for a bit!

15 weeks

Andrew is 15 weeks old today! I think he just finished a growth spurt, he looks so long. He got some new toys yesterday on our trip to Target.  He got 2 teething toys, he is getting pretty good at holding his toys and getting them in his mouth!
