We went to see the fish

We went to the Florida Aquarium today.  Andrew really loved seeing the fish.  He was a bit scared at first, but only for a minute, then he was checking out everything and dancing his way through the exhibits.

They had fountains there so Andrew got to play a little

 

18 months!

Andrew turned a year and a half yesterday!  We had his visit with the doctor today.  He got the last shot he will need until he turns 4 and he hated it.  He weighed 25.7 pounds and was 32.4" tall, just over the 50th percentile for both.

A few day ago he helped me get some stuff ready for his little sister.  We put together the bouncy seat and he decided he would try it out.





Today after his nap, we played in the sprinkler.

And he mowed the lawn, with help from Shelby.

Here is the artwork he started yesterday, he worked on it a bit more today and added some stickers.



And some video of him dancing, he gets a bit distracted by a piece of string on my carpet :)

Most of the crayon ended up in the paper, with a little art on the table too!

A quiet house and some old pictures

I came home to an empty, quiet house today.  Today was the first time Andrew has gone out of town without me.  I have left town without him once and Andrew and I have gone off without daddy, but I have never been here without Andrew. Dad took him to Disney World to hang out with all his uncles and  his maw-maw and paw-paw.

It is strange around here all alone in a quiet house.  I am sure I could have gotten all kinds of stuff done but instead I looked at some old pictures of Andrew :) like this one from last year when we took him to Disney.

It amazes me that just a year ago Andrew couldn't sit up on his own and wasn't even crawling and today he runs, climbs, and dances!

Luckily Andrew and daddy are on there way home now, mommy is missing her little guy! I bet he didn't even miss me :)

Beach day!

We went to Crescent Beach today with Aunt Jenny.  Andrew loved the sand, but he was not crazy about the big waves in the ocean.

He also enjoyed the snacks :)

He took off running a few times, but he was caught!

He got to play with all his cool beach toys...

He really missed mommy when she went in the ocean without him, I got lots of hugs when I came back!
