Little climber

Andrew has discovered a new use for his little chair.  It is really handy for climbing onto the couch.

I couldn't keep this kid off the couch today, I kept moving his chair away from it and he would push it back!  My mom would probably say he inherited his monkey skills from me.  He is pretty proud of his new climbing trick!





I guess pants can go on your head...

Feeling better!

I think Andrew is finally feeling better today! It has been almost a week now he has been sick everyday and hardly eating at all. He lost a couple pounds (and he didn't have much to loose!)  even his chubby cheeks look skinnier!

Here are some videos I took over the past week and never go a chance to upload.

Andrew is talking on the phone these days.  He is pretty good with our smart phones, you will see him in one of these videos, he slides the keyboard out to turn it on and then slides his little thumb across the screen to unlock it.   He has even made a few phone calls from my phone to Grandma, Aunt Jenny, and Daddy.  Oh and he called the police station one day!

The sneaky little guy has also figured out how to open the back door.  Just before I took this video, he had opened it up and was standing there looking at the dogs.  Now we have learned to keep the dead bolt locked!

Still sick

Andrew got sick again last night before going to bed so let him to sleep in bed with us last night.  Andrew is not very good at sharing the bed.  I found him like this last night.



He slept all night last night so hopefully he will have a better day today!

Long night

Andrew was sick last night.  Poor little guy threw up all night and again some this morning.  He must still not be feeling too hot and hasn't wanted much to eat all day.  I have been forcing pedialyte on him and trying to get him to eat all day.  I finally got some food in him the evening, Bugles, I think they are his favorite!









I am hoping this is just a 24 hour bug and he will be all better in the morning!

Little sister!

We got to sneak a peak at our growing little girl today! She looks absolutely perfect and is growing right on schedule, actually 2 days ahead of schedule!



She is sucking her thumb in these two.

Bubble bug

I took these pictures while Andrew was eating breakfast this morning.  I decided to try my hand at some photo editing today and made these black and white.






We took a trip to Target today and picked up a bubble machine.  When we got it home we found out it was broken so had to drive all the way to exchange it.  We finally got to try it out this evening!





Andrew is getting pretty good at walking, but he still has to concentrate a lot while he is doing it.  I love his serious concentrating face!





And he has to keep his feet realllly far apart :)

We are all very excited that we will soon be welcoming a little brother or sister to the family!  I am 18 weeks pregnant and this little ones arrival is estimated for June 28th, on Kenneth's birthday!

Play date with Moe

Yesterday it was beautiful, sunny 70 degrees.  We went by Aunt Jenny's house to let Moe out and had big plans to go to the park.  Well , plans changed when Andrew got car sick.  I only had an extra t-shirt that was a size too big for Andrew so I decided not to take him by the playground in this ensemble!



Instead we borrowed Aunt jenny's washer to clean the car seat and hung out with Moe a bit!

First thing he did when we got there was speed crawl over to see Moe and try to let him out, I guess he thought if he went in there he could get Moe out.



Then we hung out in the back yard a bit.









Then Andrew took a nap on Aunt Jenny's couch.





We may try to make it to the park today instead!

Friday at the park

Andrew and I met Jamie at the park on Friday. Andrew had a good time watching the other kids and swinging on the swing.

He really loved it when Jamie pushed him in the swing!

And he didn't even scream about the slide!

It's official

This video is a little long but very cute!  I guess I had the videos games organized all wrong, but don't worry, Andrew got it all straightened out for me! He diligently sorted these games for about 30 minutes, don't worry, the video is only 4 :)

Also, Andrew took three steps today, that's up one from his previous record of 2 steps :)

Rock n Roll

So apparently Andrew is a fan of Rock music.  We were having lunch at Moe's the other day and "Smoke on the Water" came on, he started banging his head to the music.  The lady at the table behind us said "You are going to have a lot of sleepless nights in the future" I'm not sure if she meant we would have rock music blaring at all hours or Andrew is going to be a handful, but I think she is probably right about the sleepless nights!

This morning I played "Smoke on the Water" on my laptop to see if he would dance and sure enough he did!

We took the Christmas tree down yesterday.  I got  a few more tree pictures before we did.

Andrew loved the tree, the other day he was finding stuff all over the house he could put on the tree, toys, hair ties, whatever he could get his hands on.  Surprisingly, we only had one ornament casualty this year!

When  we were taking the tree down, Andrew fell and busted his lip on his tooth.  Lots of blood and tears but he is all better now!
