We love books!

Andrew is really excited about books! We love to read them together and he loves playing with them.  He recently learned how to turn pages!

Apparently they are also fun to eat!

He has been working so hard on crawling, unfortunately he can only go backwards, he ended up stuck under the crib and was not real happy about it!

Hooray for Grandma!

My parents were up this weekend and my mom did this...

Yep that's is Andrew napping in his crib!  It only took one time and he has been napping great in his crib ever since.  Yesterday we went out and got a video monitor which I used for his nap this morning.  I got to close the door and watch him sleep on the little screen, he napped an hour and a half! Thank you mom!

Andrew got in some good "playtime" (Jenny's new code word for physical therapy) this weekend.

He also got in lots of Grandpa time.  He learned that it is fun to pull grandpas hair.  Here he is pulling his leg hair, later he found his mustache and eyebrows!

Stacking blocks

I just could not go any longer with out getting Andrew some blocks! So I picked these up at Target the other day.

Andrew loves them they are soft, stackable, and chewable!

Swinging sideways

I guess it is about time to put the swing away.  Every time we put Andrew in it these days he wants to lay sideways, thank goodness for safety harnesses! 

 

Playing ball

In true little boy fashion, Andrew loves playing ball!  This video is of Andrew playing ball last night with Aunt Jenny and Jamie.

Play Date!

I have so much great stuff to write about today!  This morning Andrew ate fruit that wasn't pureed for the first time, he and I shared a diced mango!

Last night Jenny came over and brought dinner.  Then she made Andrew work on getting from laying down to sitting on his own.  I haven't seen him do it yet but I know he can because I woke up twice last night to find him sitting up in bed!

Today Andrew had a play date! We went swimming with one of my co workers and her son Noah who turns one next month!

See how Andrew is waving in those last few, that's the first time he has ever waved!  I thought it was maybe just a fluke but after we left the pool we stopped by the post office and he waved to the lady in line behind us!

Happy Fourth of July!

We had a cook out today for the Fourth of July.  Andrew got to meet a new friend Aiden who is only 2 weeks old!  We ate lots of food and then watched some fireworks and did sparklers in the backyard.

Andrew woke up this morning with some serious bed head!

Morning Coffee

Have I mentioned that I love my days off with Andrew? Well I do!  This morning we got up and went for a walk and then we hung out on the back patio while I had my morning coffee.
