A day at the beach

Andrew took his first trip to the beach today! It was really nice out, not too hot and there was a nice breeze.  He loved swimming in the ocean!

When we got back to Grandma and Grandpa's we went for a swim so Andrew could try out his new police car!

Happy Father's Day again!

 Here is what Andrew gave Daddy and Grandpa A and M for father's day! Grandpa's got these cards in the mail and Daddy got these three pictures framed, it is hanging in our room!

I took these pictures last night, Andrew helped me change the sheet on our bed and then promptly drooled all over the clean sheets!

Andrew took a nap in his swing today, he has gotten so big his feet hang off the edge now! I took this picture today and compared it to one I took back in February, he was so teeny then...and bald!

Andrew had a ton of fun last night watching TV with dad.  He loves to sit on dad's shoulders where he and beat on his head and pull on his hair!

Happy Father's Day!

Kenneth had to work on his first Father's Day.  Andrew and I met him for lunch and spent the rest of the day cleaning the house.  Here is a video of Andrew playing with his jungle friends while I folded laundry.

After the sun started to go down and it cooled off a bit, we washed the dogs in the front yard.  Andrew thought it was pretty funny when I sprayed the dogs with the water hose!

Kenneth loved his father's day present Andrew and I worked on on Friday.  I will share it on here later this week!

I love Saturdays!

I really love my days off with Andrew! I am so excited that starting in September I will be working just 3 days a week which means 4 days off with Andrew! One of my favorite things about my days off is waking up to this smile...

He is so happy in the mornings, when I work he is still sleeping when I leave so I miss his morning smiles!

Today Andrew and I went shopping with Aunt Jenny.  Andrew sat in the shopping cart like a big boy!

Andrew is eating carrots for the first time this week, he loves them.  These pictures are from yesterday, but we had a similar scene today with the carrots for lunch.  Andrew has discovered his new tooth is good for holding onto the spoon and yanking it out of mommy's hand!  

A is for Andrew!

Andrew and I took this picture and some special secret Father's Day photos this morning.  We got out of the house and headed over to this field down the street before it got too hot.  Unfortunately, when we got there it was being mowed! So instead we went across the parking lot to Starbucks for some coffee.  Andrew of course found some ladies in Starbucks to flirt with, I can't take him anywhere without him flirting with strangers!

When we finally made it back to the field after it was mowed, it was HOT!  Andrew didn't put up with me too long out there but I still got some cute shots.  He really liked this big "A" so he didn't look at the camera much.

 

Later while we were in Target doing some more secret Father's Day things, we ran into Andrew's Starbucks girlfriends again.  He must have made quite the impression because they had told their husbands all about him, they said "Oh look, that's the adorable baby from Starbucks we were telling you about!"  He is quite the charmer, I think I'll be in trouble in about 16 years!

Baby it's hot outside!

Yesterday I had the day off and we spent most of our day indoors.  The temp was up to 104 degrees according to the thermometer in my car!  Tomorrow we may be breaking out Andrew's baby pool again, only this time I might swim with him!

He is working on his second tooth which has pretty much halted any sleeping through the night.  At least we got one good night in! He has been showing off his new teeth with lots of big smiles!

New stuff!

We have been looking for a high chair for Andrew for a while now and yesterday he got one!  Grandma A got him a high chair and a really great toy and they were delivered by Grandpa yesterday.  Thanks Grandma!
