Sleeping through the night!

Andrew had such a good night last night! I hope I don't jinx things by bragging about it today! He fell asleep around 8:30 then was up for an hour around 10 and then he slept until 4:30 this morning! That is the most sleep I have had in 6 months, it was heaven! I take so many pictures of him sleeping I wonder if he ever dreams he is a big time celebrity being chased by the paparazzi!  Look how sweet he looks sleeping with his little hands folded on his chest.

 I took these pictures when I got home from work today.  I love how excited he is to see me when I get home from working all day.  He will wake up from a nap the second he hears me voice and smile and squeal.  These pictures would be even better without the silly Alabama onesie dad put on him!

Chef Mommy

This morning Andrew and I slept in, it was nice! We got out of bed around 9:30.  Andrew practiced sitting a bit more this morning after we got up. He is getting pretty good at it!

Then we took a trip to the farmers market and got some fruits and vegetables for Andrew.  Solid foods are so much fun!  On this weeks menu, squash, peaches, sweet potatoes, and pears.  While Andrew took his afternoon nap, I baked all of his food. Then Aunt Jenny came over and played for a bit while I pureed everything.  He had some pears for the first time for lunch and he loved them!

Aunt Jenny had him practicing some more sitting and played with his new beach ball and must have really worn him out!  Just a few minutes after she left, he was out!

I still can't get enough of his little toes!

Happy 6 Months...Take Two!

Andrew took a 2 hour nap today and woke up in a great mood! This afternoons 6 month pictures turned out much better!

 

Andrew and I went to Target today and got him a new pool toy and a beach ball that he tried out in his pool when we got home!

Happy 6 Months!

Andrew is a half a year old today!  I took some pictures of him this morning but I think I will be trying again later.  He moves way too much now! He was all over the place at one point I thought he was going to throw himself on the floor!  I didn't get a single good picture of him this morning...

He pinched the bears nose...

Tackled the bear...

Tried to jump out of the chair...

  
And refused to smile!

We will probably try again later.  Also, I have HUGE news....Andrew can sit!

6 month well visit

Andrew saw the doctor today.  He is doing great, still skinny and has a big head! He was 14lbs 9oz today and 25.5 in long.  He got to flirt with all the nurses and he got two shots today. His next appointment isn't until 9 months and he doesn't need any shots then!

Andrew used a sippy cup for the first time today!  He loves anything that involves eating so he liked this! He did pretty well with it and he had some water for the first time.

I wrestled with him today until I got a picture of his new tooth! See it poking through on the left.
