Happy 6 Months!

Andrew is a half a year old today!  I took some pictures of him this morning but I think I will be trying again later.  He moves way too much now! He was all over the place at one point I thought he was going to throw himself on the floor!  I didn't get a single good picture of him this morning...

He pinched the bears nose...

Ate the bear...

Tackled the bear...

Tried to jump out of the chair...

And refused to smile!

We will probably try again later.  Also, I have HUGE news....Andrew can sit!

6 month well visit

Andrew saw the doctor today.  He is doing great, still skinny and has a big head! He was 14lbs 9oz today and 25.5 in long.  He got to flirt with all the nurses and he got two shots today. His next appointment isn't until 9 months and he doesn't need any shots then!

Andrew used a sippy cup for the first time today!  He loves anything that involves eating so he liked this! He did pretty well with it and he had some water for the first time.

I wrestled with him today until I got a picture of his new tooth! See it poking through on the left.

New swing

Check out Andrew in his new swing that we hung on our front porch.

He is almost sitting by himself now and has been working so hard on crawling.  Also, his first tooth has broken through his gums! I have been trying to get a picture of his new tooth for a few days but he won't let me!

Splish Splash...

This kid LOVES the water! He can sit up in the big boy side of his bath tub now and loves to kick and splash. I took these pictures during bath time last night.

And his after bath mohawk!

Another Disney trip!

We went back to Orlando yesterday to spend the day with Kenneth's brother and his family. We had a good time despite the sweltering weather.  Andrew even got to go for a swim again!

Here is Andrew as a Storm Trooper!

Andrew took a lot of naps again, here he is napping with cousin Makayla

I took this picture with my cell phone of Andrew and his cousins Maddie and Makayla.  Despite the look on his face in this photo, he loved them!

Poor little guy was so exhausted when we left!

Here is another jumparoo video (in case you haven't seen enough of these).  He has finally graduated from the pillow booster he needed and can touch the floor! I think it is that extra pound, he is up to 15 pounds!

Some new stuff

I love that picture! I have been wanting to take his picture on those bricks in our front yard for a while now and he looked so cute yesterday I decided to try it out.  He wasn't very cooperative though and that is the only decent photo I got! I will have to try again some day, the rest of the photo came out like this...

and this...

Andrew does a few new things these days. He got his Landau reflex which means when you hold him on his belly, he puts his head and feet up like superman!  It is an important reflex for learning to sit and crawl, also, it's pretty cute!

Also he can sit by himself with a bit of help from his boppy pillow. He likes this because he really like do be independent and do things on his own.

Little Green Monster!

Andrew tried a new food today, Avocado! This might be my favorite baby food to make, all I had to do was take out the pit and mash it up and it's not nearly as sticky as sweet potatoes! It smelled so good, I ate the other half of his avocado for lunch!

I took some video too, apparently I am not so good at taking video and feeding baby at the same time!

Vacation is exhausting!

When we got home yesterday, I put Andrew in his jumparoo for a bit so he could play and I could do some cleaning around the house.  He really loves this thing and was smiling and jumping like crazy!

I went in the back room for a minute and heard him stop jumping so I came out to check on him and found him like this! He was so cute, he would open his eyes and jump a few times then slowly close them and lay his head back down.  Of course I had to take a few pictures before I took him out and put him in bed.
