First trip to Disney World

We took a trip up to Pensacola to visit with Kenneth's family last week. Andrew got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Motes and all his uncles including Uncle Ben and Uncle Blake who were in town from the Air Force.

Monday we drove down to Orlando and Andrew went on his first (of many I'm sure) trip to Disney World!

He met Pocahontas and couldn't take his eyes off her!

He met Rafiki and pulled his hair

We went to the petting zoo and he pet a goat

He got in lots of good naps

 He got to meet his cousin Audrina

 

 Dad tried to feed him to a dinosaur!

 
And we bought him some mickey ears with his name on them!

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful first mother's day yesterday!  Andrew and I went to St Pete to see Rent in the park with my parents. Andrew wore his "I love mommy" shirt for me!

Today we went for breakfast in the park.  We only saw one baby alligator, grandma told Andrew that alligators think little boys taste like pickles!

Andrew got to go on the swing.

And he got to try out his new swimmy ring in grandma and grandpas pool.  He swam all around the pool kicking he little legs.  

He could also pet the puppies really well from in the pool.  He really likes to pet Moe and pull on his beard!

I think he was trying to see if he really does taste like pickles!

Photo Shoot!

Andrew and I had a great day shopping today with Aunt Jenny! We saw this photo in a frame for sale of a baby playing with his foot and Jenny said I needed one of those of Andrew.  I set up a "studio" in the living room to try to get that picture but the little guy wasn't so much into his feet. I did get tons of cute shots though!

Yesterday I made Andrew a new hat for 4th of July. He loves to look at himself in the mirror with the hat on!

Happy 5 months!

 

Andrew is 5 months old today! He celebrated by trying some sweet potatoes, YUMMY! He ended up wearing half of them I think but he really enjoyed it!

Carousel ride

We took a trip to Universal studios yesterday with my parents and sister. It was so fun! I was so excited to ride the new Harry Potter ride and drink some butter beer! Andrew got to go on a ride too, this is a picture of us on the carousel in Seuss Landing, I think he liked it!
